Hi, I’m Sara Sanders, a stop-motion & visual development artist. Currently studying Illustration & Animation at St Joost School of Art & Design.

Vibrant colours, handmade textures and playful designs is what you’ll find looking at my work, often explored through a variety of mediums; 2d animation, stop motion animation and mixed media animations!

I have a big soft spot for designing and making puppets, it feels surreal seeing them come to life when they get animated! Making the viewer truly believe a set is lived in is what i aspire to do when building and ageing them.

Through expressive characters and bright colour palettes I aim to connect with younger audiences, while still sharing meaningful messages. My work explores stories and emotions that are often overlooked, bringing perspectives to light that deserve to be seen.
